Our son Matthew has had trouble since birth with gross motor skill development. Last year, his neurologist suggested karate or taekwondo to help improve his stability, being able to jump, and do other things a 6 year old should be able to do. His whole life he hasn't been able to "keep up." He joined Chardon ATA last June and never looked back. I can tell you that through the patient, caring, & fun training offered by his instructors (Mr DeShetler, Miss Huntington, Mr Curran, Miss DeShetler, formerly Mr Myers, and anyone else who has pitched in on occasion) Matthew is now jumping, kicking, and able to stand on one leg! He just received his camo belt & has started to spar. We have been blessed with this opportunity. His father & I both are so impressed with Chardon ATA, that we even joined too! Join in on the fun. You won't regret it!
